Cotizalo helps groups and businesses compare coach and minibus hire quotes. This page explains what we do with the details you give us, and how to contact us about them.
Who we are

What we collect
When you request quotes we ask for your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the details of the trip: pickup and destination, dates and times, number of passengers, vehicle preferences, luggage and any notes you add.
Why we use it
- To get you quotes. We pass your request to up to five partner coach operators or brokers so they can price it and email you directly. This is the service you asked for, and the basis for the processing is our contract with you.
- To keep you informed about that request. We confirm your request by email and, if you gave a phone number and left the WhatsApp box ticked, on WhatsApp. We may follow up about the same request: to check whether you still need the coach, to remind you before your trip, and to ask how it went afterwards. Our basis is our legitimate interest in running the service well. You can opt out at any time (see below).
- To improve the service. We keep records of requests, quotes and outcomes to measure how well our partners perform and to keep only the good ones.
WhatsApp messages
Our WhatsApp messages come from the number +34 644 70 96 51, shown as "Cotizalo". Save it so you recognise our updates.
To stop WhatsApp messages, reply STOP to any of them. We will not message you on WhatsApp again about that request. WhatsApp is provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. Messages are protected by WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption in transit, and Meta processes them under its own terms.
Who we share it with
- The partner operators and brokers we select for your request, so they can quote. They become independent controllers of the details you then exchange with them.
- Service providers we use to run Cotizalo: Google, Netlify (website hosting) and Meta (WhatsApp). They act on our instructions.
- Nobody else, unless the law requires it. We never sell your details.
How long we keep it
Request details and message records are kept for up to 24 months after your trip date so we can handle questions, disputes and partner payments. After that they are deleted or anonymised for statistics.
Cookies and advertising
We use Google Ads conversion tags to measure whether our advertising works. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct or delete them, object to our use of them, or ask us to stop follow-ups. Email . You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
